These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all skip hire services provided by Skip Solutions Plymouth (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a skip with us, you (“the customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to these Terms.
Standard hire period is 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.
A daily charge of £10 applies for each additional day beyond the 7-day hire period.
If you require an extension, you must contact us at least 24 hours before your hire period ends to arrange it.
All hires must be paid in full before delivery.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, card payment, or cash (by prior arrangement).
Additional charges (e.g. extended hire, wasted journeys, overweight fees) must be settled within 48 hours of invoicing.
For safety, legal, and environmental reasons, the following items must not be placed in the skip:

Tip: If you’re unsure about an item, call us before loading — we can often arrange safe, legal disposal for a small additional charge.
If prohibited items are found, additional disposal charges will apply and may be deducted from any deposit or charged directly.
Do not fill the skip above the marked “Fill Line”.
Overloaded skips cannot be legally transported and may incur additional fees or require removal of excess waste before collection.
Waste must be level and safe for transport. Dangerous or insecure loads will be refused.
The customer is responsible for providing safe and adequate access for delivery and collection.
Any damage to driveways, pavements, or underground services caused by skip placement is the customer’s responsibility unless due to our negligence.
If the skip is to be placed on a public highway, you must obtain the necessary council permit before delivery (we can assist with arranging this at an additional cost).
If we are unable to deliver or collect a skip due to:
Incorrect address details
Blocked or restricted access
Overloaded skip
Customer not being ready for collection
A wasted journey charge of £50 will apply.
We are not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses caused by improper use of the skip.
You are responsible for the skip and its contents during the hire period.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before delivery will be refunded in full.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee of £50.
We will only use your personal data to process your booking and provide our services in accordance with UK data protection laws.
